Join WEAN for a walk and talk at one of Whidbey island’s most stunning reserves: Ebey’s Landing! As a longtime agricultural landscape, this space was stewarded by Indigenous people for thousands of years and also served as a home to Chinese communities and European settlers. The reserve features undeveloped coastline, a coastal wetland, and anthropogenic prairie land.
We will meet at the parking lot and trailhead on the west side of Sunnyside Cemetery. You can find a map
here.
Be sure to dress in comfortable attire and walking shoes, and please note that some exertion is required with gentle elevation gain and loss on the trail.
When:
July 29, 2026, from 5:30pm to 6:30pm
Where: Ebey’s Landing, parking lot west of Sunnyside Cemetery, 162 Cemetery Rd, Coupeville, WA 98239
